Last season, our largest-ever group of strings recreated the official string band for France’s court at Versailles. For our 2023–24 finale, this smashing orchestra reunites in a new program celebrating the influence of Lully’s direction of the ensemble 24 Violons du Roy on German and Italian music, through works by Muffat and Corelli.
